It was a beach day for Monyetta Shaw and kids Madilyn and Mason Smith as the three basked in the spring sun this past week. Mason was the cool one as he sported blue sun glasses that matched his beach outfit, while Madilyn was the dainty one in her purple pool wear.
This past Saturday was Monyetta’s first book signing for her new children’s series, The Adventures of Maddie. The author was thrilled to have her family along as she signed copies of her new book. “Motherhood inspired me to write the book,” Shaw said recently. “It was my way of scrap-booking my children’s lives, it was important to me that they have a documented legacy to cherish for the rest of their lives.”
