Jennifer Hudson and son David Otunga Jr.,3, head out by way of LAX after enjoying an amazing night at the Academy Awards. The singer and her son arrived at the airport on Monday (February 25) dressed in black and holding pirate gear.
David Jr. was the ultimate protector of mom as he swung his toy sword to and from in attempts to ward off potential predators. Jennifer Hudson smiled as she watched her son use his pirate gear. The singer was completely in relaxation mode as she made her way through the airport while wearing a casual black outfit and listening to music.
David and Jennifer partied the night away on Sunday (February 24) in celebration of the 85th Academy Awards. Hudson belted out the notes to ‘And I am telling you’ during the Broadway segment of the awards show in such an astounding way that even Oprah Winfrey gave her accolades for her performance via Twitter. David spent the night backstage, exploring the behind-the-scenes world while mom faced the music and applause.
David Jr. is Jennifer and fiance David Otunga Sr.’s first child together.
