Don Cheadle snaps a picture while out-and-about with daughters Ayana,18, and Imani,16. Cheadle is anticipating the debut of one of his most recent film works, Iron Man 3.
Don recently sat down with USA Weekend where he talked about the joys and challenges of parenting teen girls saying, “The bigger challenge is that they are rapidly approaching the age. Next year my daughter [Ayana] is going to be going to college and a couple years behind her, her sister [Imani]. It’s more that you’re on the launch pad to trying to make sure that they can do what they need to do once they’re out of there.”
One of the most important lessons that Cheadle hopes to teach his daughters while on the launching pad is that they are key components to their destinies. “I try to make sure my daughters are cognizant about the choices they make and what the potential upside or downside could be to those choices,” explains the actor.
