Blue Ivy Carter and Lukensia Michaels top the list of worst celebrity baby names:
Blue Ivy has been voted the worst celebrity girl name of 2012 in an online poll of about 2,000 users, U.S. website BabyNames.com announced Monday.
More than 47.1 percent of respondents voted the moniker of Beyonce and Jay Z’s daughter the worst celebrity baby girl’s name. The runner up was Lukensia, daughter of Jillian Michaels and Heidi Rhoades, with 29.1 percent of the vote.….”We’re not seeing crazy names like Pilot Inspektor or Moxie Crimefighter anymore,” BabyNames.com founder and chief executive officer Jennifer Moss said in a statement Monday, referring to the quirky names of Jason Lee’s son and Penn Jillette’s daughter. “I think celebrities are becoming a little more sensitive to the fact that the child has to live with his or her name.”(Read more)
