LAILA ALI, GRANT HILL, AND SUGAR RAY LEONARD ATTEND 3RD ANNUAL ‘MY BROTHER CHARLIE’ EVENT

Laila Ali, Grant Hill, and Sugar Ray Leonard were three among several athletes to attend the 3rd annual ‘My Brother Charlie’ festival on Sunday, August 12, 2012.  Hosted by Holly and Rodney Peete, ‘My Brother Charlie’ is a charity event that raises awareness about autism and supports the HollyRod Foundation.

Holly and Rodney decided to host the festival three years ago after their daughter Ryan wrote an award-winning children’s book called My Brother Charlie.  Ryan was inspired to write the book after becoming aware of her twin brother Rodney Jr.’s autism. Rodney Jr. was deemed autistic at age 3. The Peetes have four children in all.
