Solange Knowles spent her Mother’s Day on a biking trip with her 7-year-old son Julez. The pair rode through various parts of New York City and enjoyed the beauty of the day.
Solange was absolutely touched by her son’s Mother’s Day present deeming it the “Best mothers day gift EVER!” While other children were out trying to find gifts for their mothers, Julez wrote a thoughtful letter to his mom that highlighted Solange’s many good traits as a parent. According to Julez Knowles’ ability to “cook food, put [him] in a good school, [and] make [him] feel safe” are what makes her mothering great.
In addition to celebrating with her son, Knowles shared her Mother’s Day with mother Tina and sister Beyonce. Tina was happy to spend her special day with her daughters telling Us Weekly, “[We’re] all going to be together. We’re excited because it’s Beyonce’s first Mother’s Day. I’m hoping to cook! I want to cook my traditional soul food and maybe gumbo. That’s my favorite dish!”
