The year 2011 was filled with surprises and debuts. Many adults released new projects and several children advanced in the entertainment industry as well. Here is a list of celebrity kids that America should be on the lookout for in 2012.

Selah Marley
This young lady has launched her modeling career and aspires to sing like her mother Lauryn Hill.
Willow Smith
The 11-year-old singer has already released a hit single and anticipates her newest song “Fireball” to be the next great thing. Willow’s album Knees & Elbows will debut in April 2012.
Jaden Smith
Actor and singer, Jaden has made waves this year. He and friend Justin Bieber recently recorded their rendition of “Thinking About You” by Frank Ocean. The 13-year-old made his debut as an actor in The Pursuit of Happyness.
OMG Girlz
The singing trio recently embarked on the Scream Tour and recorded a music video to accompany their single “Gucci This, Gucci That.” Zonnique, a.k.a. Star, is T.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle’s daughter. Both T.I. and Tiny have been active contributors to the singing group.
Diggy Simmons
At 16, Diggy Simmons is bringing positivity back to the music industry and society at large. Simmons recently released his music video “Do It Like You” which encourages young ladies to be themselves, and spoke against bullying at a charity event. There’s no stopping Mr. Do-Gooder.
Jacob Latimore
He sang at the BET Special Christmas concert, performed on the Scream Tour, and is set to guest star in BET’s new show “Reed Between the Lines.” Jacob Latimore,15, has been a busy kid and shows no sign of slowing down in 2012.
Torian Sellers
At 14, Torian is the youngest artist to be signed to YMCMB record label. Rapper Lil’ Wayne introduced him as “the future” earlier this year and recognized Torian as a new artist who is needed in the music industry.
Rachel Crow
She made her mark on X Factor and is rumored to be on Disney’s radar. Expect to hear a lot more from this 13-year-old singing sensation.
Cori Broadus
Cori had fans shaking their head with her newest single “SMH.” The 12-year-old singer and daughter of rapper Snoop Dogg is set to debut her album in 2012.
Cymphonique Miller
Miller,15, will premiere in Nickelodeon’s How to Rock in 2012. Cymphonique recently interviewed with her father Percy Miller,a.k.a. Master P, in which she expressed excitement about being part of the cast. Miller will portray main character Kacey Simon in the series.
