The View co-host Sherri Shepherd and her son Jeffrey Tarpley Jr.,6, were spotted at Redbook’s screening of Salma Hayek’s new film ‘Puss In Boots’ held at Hearst Tower in New York City on October 24th, 2011.
Little Jeffrey played the role of a perfect escort as he and his mom walked on the red carpet at the event. The only person missing with the pair was Sherri’s new husband Lamar Sally, who was probably busy at work.
“Marriage is a great thing. I feel very blessed that I got a second chance to get this thing right. So we’re having a really good time,” Sherri says of marriage a second time around.
“He loves my son, my son adores him. Marriages are work, but I like the person. If you’re going to go through the valleys and the hills, you want to figure out who you want to go through it with. So I got a good guy.”
Shepherd’s first marriage to comedian Jeff Tarpley ended in 2009.
