Law and Order star Mariska Hargitay and her daughter Amaya Josephine were spotted at the twenty-second annual Light Up A Life event on Saturday (October 22, 2011):
Light Up A Life is the signature family fundraising event for the NewYork-Presbyterian Phyllis and David Komansky Center for Children’s Health, and is organized by members of the Komansky Center’s Pediatric Support Committee. The event directly benefits a variety of pediatric programs.
Hargitay and her husband Peter Hermann, both of whom served as honorary chairpersons for the fundraiser, adopted Amaya about six months ago and a son just a couple of weeks ago. The couple also have 5-year-old son August.
