Angela Simmons is thankful to her father, Rev Simmons, for being an excellent role model for her son. The celebrity mom took to Instagram to celebrate her dad while honoring the memory of her son’s father.

Angela started her post by wishing her father well on his birthday. “Happy Birthday to the best Dad,” Angela exclaimed. “Thank you, Dad, for being there every step of the way,” Angela exclaimed. “Today is your Day! Thank God he made you.”
This month makes a year since the father of Angela Simmons’ son was killed in Atlanta. Sutton Tennyson Sr. passed away on November 3, 2018. Angela took to Instagram to reminisce about her son’s father earlier this month.

“You left us exactly a year ago today,” Angela wrote online on Sunday, November 3, 2019. “I want to let you know your baby boy is flourishing, he’s growing,” the celebrity mom continued. “He’s everything you knew he’d be and even more,” Angela gushed. “I look at him every day … and I see you so much. You’d be so proud of him. The way I’m proud of him. He talks to me about you before bed. He’s adorable, Sutton.”

“There’s so much I want to tell you. But I know you are with us every day. I can never repay you or thank you enough for the light you have brought to my life. He’s so precious. And we miss you. So much more to say. But thank you for everything. Gone but never forgotten.”
