Is O.T. Genasis the father of Malika Haqq’s baby? Some think so! The expectant star recently sat down with her sister, Khadijah Haqq McCray, on a recent episode of Side by Side.
“The reason why I was so excited to learn that I was pregnant was because I knew that my life was going to change for the better,” Malika said of her expectancy. “The greatest blessing that I have always wanted, but didn’t know how I would get it, is finally here,” she added.
Haqq went on to reveal that she is expecting one year after deciding to freeze her eggs. “I didn’t know when I was going to have children,” Malika shared. “So deciding to freeze my eggs as a gift to myself for my thirty-fifth birthday was pretty hilarious now at this point because I have eggs in the freezer that I may never use,” she continued. “I made a baby in love, and those eggs weren’t necessary,” Malika concluded.
Some believe that Malika subtly revealed the father of her child as O.T. Genasis when she said her son was conceived in love. The celebrity did, after all, date her ex-boyfriend for two years before the relationship ended a few months back. Still, Malika remains silent on the identity of her unborn child’s dad.
“I’m leaving him out of this, just for now,” Malika told PEOPLE in September. “My baby was made in love and that is something that will unfold at a later date,” she concluded.
