Set to Jodeci’s “Forever My Lady,” the clip shows the couple beaming with joy as a nurse performs an ultrasound on Elishi’s belly. At the end of the video, the two share a kiss and hold up a sonogram photo of their baby.

Their post drew congratulations from fellow “Love Island” stars in the comments section. Olivia Attwood wrote, “Congratulations cherubs!!!!” while Dami Hope commented, “OMFGGGGG. Congrats my family… I think I just shed a tear.”

Georgia Harrison added a message for Elishi: “I’m so excited for you to be a mumma.”

Hyde, 27, also expressed his excitement about the baby on his Instagram Stories, where he tagged Elishi.

“Don’t make a scene. Can’t wait for this next chapter. Love you @samieelishi,” he wrote.

Hours after their announcement, the couple made their first public appearance as expectant parents at the Pride of Britain Awards in London.

Elishi, 26, showed off her baby bump in a cream satin halter-neck dress, while Hyde wore a gray suit. On the red carpet, Elishi told television personality Ferne McCann that she is four months pregnant.

The following day, the mom-to-be shared photos of herself and Hyde hand in hand at the ceremony on Instagram.

“Pride of Britain Awards celebrating the most inspiring people… had the privilege of hearing their incredible stories & be reminded of the very best of humanity,” she wrote.

“Last night really put life into perspective,” she added.

Elishi and Hyde appeared on separate seasons of “Love Island” in 2023. She competed in the winter series, while he joined the summer cast.

Although the couple only went public with their romance in late March, Hyde revealed during an April appearance on Joe Baggs’ “Not My Bagg” podcast that he and Elishi have known each other for about six years.

“Before the villa, I was trying, I can’t lie I was shooting my shot,” he said of his attempts to date her before she returned for “Love Island: All Stars” earlier this year.

They eventually reconnected after her split from “All Stars” co-winner Ciaran Davies and stepped out together just weeks later.
