Yung Miami is responding after her daughter, Summer, and nephew Rylo joined her onstage at Fall Fest 2K26 at WAVE in Wichita, Kansas, on Sunday.
During her set, the cousins came out for “Spend Dat” and danced beside Miami as they did their version of the song’s viral routine together.
After the show, Miami shared a photo with Summer and Rylo from the event, writing, “This who I do it for!!! My Why’s .”
After clips from the performance also later circulated online, some people criticized Miami for allowing the kids to dance to the explicit track.
“Yung Miami brings her daughter to help her perform ‘Spend Dat’ which is a song promoting SCAMMING, BOOSTING and HOOD RAT CULTURE,” one person wrote on X.
Miami responded to the backlashin The Shade Room’s comments, and compared the moment to the dances she did as a child.
“I use to do the cry baby and splits in dance contests when I was a lil girl oh yeah and the doodoo brown! Yall go cook,” she wrote.
Miami faced similar criticism in 2023 when her son, Jai Wiggins Jr., attended Rolling Loud Miami with her at age 10.
A backstage video from the festival showed Jai throwing money while strippers performed nearby, prompting some viewers to question whether he should have been in that environment.

Miami defended her son at the time, writing, “My son at rolling loud having a ball backstage let’s address it!??”
JT also weighed in, explaining that Jai attending Rolling Loud was nothing new for the family.
“Every year we do rolling loud together!” she wrote, adding that Jai was “having the time of his life.”
Miami later revealed just how much the experience meant to her son and shared that Jai called Rolling Loud “the best day of his life.”
Yung Miami is mom to Jai and Summer. She shares Jai with the late Jai Wiggins and welcomed Summer with producer Southside in 2019.
