Nick Cannon and LaNisha Cole’s daughter, Onyx Ice, is growing up right before their eyes.
Cole recently shared a new batch of photos featuring the 3-year-old enjoying time with both of her parents. She kept the caption simple, writing, “August .”
Several photos capture Onyx with Cannon outdoors. In one, the father-daughter duo flashes matching peace signs as Onyx sits on her dad’s shoulder. Another shows the pair smiling together, with Onyx standing beside Cannon in a black-and-white striped outfit and oversized red bow.
The carousel also includes a close-up of Onyx smiling for the camera and a sweet mother-daughter selfie with Cole. In the snap, Onyx cuddles close to her mom as the two pose together.
Cannon and Cole welcomed Onyx on September 14, 2022. The Masked Singer host has previously spoken about his close bond with his daughter and the co-parenting relationship he shares with Cole.
During a 2023 appearance on The Jason Lee Podcast, Cannon revealed that Onyx was “probably the child that I spend the most time with.”
“I’m with her at least three times a week, for the full day. But I don’t put that out there in the media, social media [because] it’s not for them,” he said.
Cannon explained that he and Cole had worked out a schedule that allowed him to regularly spend full days with Onyx. At the time, he said she was usually with him on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and would even accompany him to work.
“I got a nursery in my office,” Cannon shared, adding that he arranged his schedule to maximize their time together.
He also praised his relationship with Cole, saying, “LaNisha and I have a super strong understanding and our co-parenting operation is so solid.”
Onyx is one of Cannon’s 12 children. He shares 15-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey; Golden Sagon, 9, Powerful Queen, 5, and Rise Messiah, 3, with Brittany Bell; and 4-year-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and 3-year-old Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa.
Cannon is also dad to 4-year-old Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi and 3-year-old Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott. He and Scott also shared son Zen, who died at five months old in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
