Shai Moss got all glammed up for her school’s Mamma Mia!-themed homecoming dance on Saturday!
For the occasion, the 15-year-old daughter of Bow Wow and Joie Chavis wore Retrofête’s Haven Embellished Dress, a $998 white-and-silver mini with shimmering sequins, fringe detailing and an open back.
She completed her look with silver strappy heels, a white floral corsage and long, straight hair.
On Sunday, Shai gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her preparing for the dance in a TikTok “Get Ready With Me” video.
“Today is homecoming!” she announced at the start of the clip.
“We’re gonna go through the whole day together, so you’re gonna be here just going along with this hectic day,” she told viewers.
Her hairstylist got started on her hair first, but Shai wasn’t too thrilled about the blow-drying process.
“I just want to get done with this because I’m overstimulated,” she said. “Something about that blow dryer, it overstimulates me. I don’t like it.”
When it came time for makeup, Shai admitted she didn’t have a particular look in mind.
“I don’t have inspo for my makeup. I never do,” she said.
After going over a few options with her makeup artist, the two settled on a soft, glowy look with subtle winged liner and a touch of sparkle.
Shai later shared photos of her finished look on Instagram with the caption “HOCO 26′.”
Reginae Carter was among those who showed her some love, leaving several heart-eyes emojis in the comments.
This wasn’t Shai’s first homecoming. Last October, she attended the school dance in a metallic champagne mini dress with a pleated train.
Earlier this year, the teen also joined Bow Wow on the red carpet at the BET Awards. During an interview with E! News, the rapper shared one of the milestones that made him particularly proud as a father.
“My daughter is driving,” he said. “That’s a proud moment right there.”
