Wiz Khalifa and his girlfriend, Aimee Aguilar, recently celebrated their daughter Kaydence’s second birthday with a colorful Wonka-themed party.
The celebration featured plenty of candy-inspired décor, including a towering birthday cake decorated with a giant Wonka hat, oversized lollipops, chocolate bars, and a gold number two.
Young guests in attendance also enjoyed party games, including a rainbow-colored piñata and karaoke.
In a photo shared to her mom’s Instagram Stories, Kaydence, wearing a bright pink tutu dress, could be seen taking a swing at the piñata as family and friends cheered her on.
Khalifa also posted a sweet video of his daughter singing along to Alicia Keys’ Girl on Fire.
“My baby is a natural,” he captioned the clip.
The birthday celebration also prompted Khalifa to reflect on fatherhood. In a video shared with fans, the rapper praised what he called a new generation of involved dads.
He said, “Y’all wanna know the cool thing about being a dad? And the cool things that I see y’all dads doing. Shout out to the dads out there. Shout out the new age dads. I’m 38, I’ll be 39 in September, so, up there, you know, 40-year-old dads, right? What we’re doing that’s different is, our kids look up to us because of what we do, not because of what we tell them to do. We have the resources. Like, thank God bless us for a reason.”
He continued, “Back in the day, dads used to just drop sons off and be like, ‘Yo, get it cracking,’ right? It was very rare that you had a dad who was a coach or maybe an ex-NFL player or had money or something like that to put you through programs. But now, all of us dads are active as f*** right here with our kids, teaching them the way.”
Khalifa and Aguilar welcomed their daughter in 2024.
Although they have shared glimpses of Kaydence’s milestones over the years, they have continued to keep her identity private. As with previous posts, they did not reveal her face in the birthday photos or video.
Khalifa is also dad to son Sebastian Taylor Thomaz, whom he shares with ex-wife Amber Rose.
