Coi Leray had double the reason to celebrate on Sunday.
Not only was it National Puerto Rican Day Parade day, but it was also her daughter Miyoco’s first birthday.

The rapper marked the occasion by sharing a series of photos and videos on Instagram Stories documenting Miyoco’s first year, along with a few new snapshots of the birthday girl.
Among the posts was a sweet portrait of Miyoco smiling for the camera alongside the message, “My baby is 1 today.” Coi also shared a throwback photo taken shortly after giving birth, writing, “She changed my life.”
The birthday tribute included several festive photos of the mother-daughter duo dressed in matching red, white, and blue looks inspired by the Puerto Rican flag. In one image, Miyoco posed in a flag-inspired dress while standing in front of a Puerto Rican flag.

Just weeks before Miyoco’s first birthday, Coi celebrated her first Mother’s Day and reflected on how motherhood has changed her life.
“My first Mother’s Day,” Coi wrote. “No one talks about how hard it is to go from pregnancy then straight back to work.”
She continued, “Growing up with all boys, God knows I needed a Girl. 11 Months feels like it was just yesterday. My daughter has changed my life, my way of thinking, and how I view the world. Everything I do is for her.”

The musician also acknowledged the realities many working mothers face after welcoming a child.
“Be easy on yourself Moms,” she wrote. “You are all warriors and I’m proud to say we don’t look like what we’ve all been through.”

Coi and ex-boyfriend Trippie Redd welcomed Miyoco on June 14, 2025.
Months after welcoming her daughter, Coi shared a vlog detailing her birth experience and revealed that she underwent an emergency C-section after Miyoco’s heart rate suddenly dropped.
“It was not easy, but we did it,” she said.
“I was so scared ‘cause I just couldn’t imagine getting a C-section, but I’m so grateful for the doctors,” she continued. “They made me feel so comfortable, and it was very emotional, but all I cared about was her being healthy and coming out.”
