GARCELLE BEAUVAIS CELEBRATES TWIN SONS JAX AND JAID’S HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION

Garcelle Beauvais has double the reasons to celebrate.

The actress has revealed that her twin sons, Jax and Jaid Nilon, have officially graduated from high school.

Sharing photos from the ceremony on Instagram, Beauvais reflected on the occasion and thanked the family and friends who came out to support the twins.

“Celebrating another milestone so proud of both Jax and @jaid.nilon congratulations on graduating high school! the world is yours. thank you to family and friends who showed up and supported the boys! #takesavillage,” she wrote.

Among those in attendance were the boys’ father, Mike Nilon, and Garcelle’s older son, Oliver Saunders.

The graduation comes after Beauvais recently spoke about adjusting to life as an empty nester.

During the People Inc. Black Affinity Group’s Legacy Chat series earlier this month, the actress admitted that her home already feels different.

“Oh my God, the house feels different already,” she said. “[Like] the energy feels different.”

Beauvais said there are times when the reality of no longer being in the day-to-day stage of motherhood catches her off guard.

“Every now and then I burst into tears because it’s not like the day-to-day of motherhood anymore,” she explained. “What’s for dinner? I can’t make your game. Oh my God, we need 25 cupcakes. All those little things.”

She also opened up about watching her sons become more independent.

“They’re both driving,” Beauvais said. “The other day they both drove and met me for dinner. Yeah, it’s different.”

Now, with high school behind them, Jax and Jaid are preparing for what’s next. Beauvais previously shared that Jaid is moving to New York to start his modeling career. While she has not publicly revealed Jax’s post-graduation plans, the proud mom has spoken openly about supporting both of her sons as they begin carving out their own paths.
