21 Savage is giving fans a first look at his and Latto’s baby.
The rapper took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a series of photos, including one of a newborn lying on a cream blanket while wearing a white Arsenal onesie. He captioned the picture, “We Did It !!!!!!!!”
Earlier this week, Latto appeared to confirm that she recently gave birth after posting a personal video documenting her pregnancy journey. The clip included moments from doctor appointments, studio sessions, vacations, and her baby shower with 21 Savage.
Toward the end of the video, Latto revealed that footage taken at 37 weeks pregnant would likely be one of the final updates before giving birth.
“37 weeks today. Basically full term. And it’s any day now. I am so ready to meet my baby. I’m never going to leave when my baby gets here. I need a million dollars to show because I don’t wanna leave the house. This will probably be the last video I make,” she said.
The clip then transitioned into promotional visuals for Big Mama while audio from the delivery room played in the background, including voices encouraging her to push during labor.
Back in March, Latto first announced her pregnancy while unveiling the cover art for Big Mama and releasing the video for her single “Business & Personal.” The album artwork featured the rapper posing with her baby bump alongside a baby cheetah while dressed in a sheer black look.
Neither Latto nor 21 Savage has publicly revealed the baby’s name or gender.
Latto previously told Paper magazine that she would not know the sex of her baby until birth.
“I’m documenting my whole pregnancy in this book for them to see one day,” she said. “I’m not even being secretive when I say ‘them’ — I don’t know! We decided from the jump we was gonna make [the gender] a surprise.”
