Offscreen, she is a proud mom of two. She shares Lyric, born in 2010, and her younger daughter Liyah, born in 2013, with longtime partner Danny “KP” Kirkpatrick, a tattoo artist and musician.

In a 2025 interview with Essence, Pratt reflected on how she and KP balance parenting with their careers.

“My kids are growing so fast, and I want to be around for any and everything. And my kids, I am so, it’s so many people who are like, “You’re so hands-on.” And I’m like, “What are you talking about? What do you mean? They’re my kids.”

She explained that they stay involved in every part of their daughters’ lives — from school drop-offs to day-to-day routines — and are intentional about maintaining that presence.

“So it’s trying to just make sure you keep the balance of knowing that, reminding them that they are the most important things, but as a person, you as a parent are still important as well, ” she continued, “So, let’s find this balance. It’s not always easy, but it’s great when you have the unit that we have and the partner that I have. I’m completely blessed.”

The 57th NAACP Image Awards will air February 28 on BET and CBS. Season 4 of The Proud Family is currently in production and expected to release later this year.
