ERICA MENA SHARES COURT VICTORY IN ONGOING CHILD SUPPORT CASE WITH SAFAREE SAMUELS

Erica Mena is speaking out amid her long-running legal battle with her ex-husband, Safaree Samuels, ex-husband, Safaree Samuels.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the reality star detailed what she described as years of financial strain and carrying the full weight of parenting their two children.

She began, “For 2½ years and counting – I’ve endured malicious filings, unnecessary legal attacks and intentional financial pressure, all while being the only consistent present parent for my two youngest children. The only one handling medical care, education, childcare and the everyday costs of raising two growing children, as I have since the day they were born.”

“Yesterday wasn’t about revenge,” Mena continued. “It was about receipts, facts and accountability.”

According to Mena, a recent court appearance marked an important moment after years of carrying the financial and parental responsibilities alone. She said the decision to push back legally came after enduring what she described as prolonged hardship while continuing to parent full time.

“Asking for half is not asking for too much,” she added. “It’s asking for what’s right. Children have two parents. Even when only one consistently shows up.”

Mena also publicly praised her attorney, Lisa Weber, crediting her with standing firm throughout the case and advocating for fairness. She described Weber as deeply invested in the outcome and said her dedication was rooted in integrity and principle rather than compensation.

Despite calling the recent outcome a victory, Mena said the legal fight is ongoing. She revealed that there is still an active attempt to drastically reduce child support, even though she remains the primary parent and, according to her, shoulders the true financial responsibility of raising their children.

“It’s easy to underestimate the cost of children you don’t actively raise, especially while always publicly flaunting luxury,” she wrote. “But children don’t live off appearances. They live off stability, care and responsibility.”

Mena concluded by making it clear that while she has prioritized peace, she will continue to speak out when it comes to her children.

“I will NEVER choose silence when it comes to my children,” she wrote. “Receipts spoke. Accountability stood. Neglect didn’t win.”
