New court filings are shedding light on the ongoing legal battle between rapper LiAngelo Ball and Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood alum Nikki Mudarris. The rappers alleged income surfaces and the numbers are raising eyebrows.
Per documents obtained by Us Weekly, the reality star claims her ex disclosed that he earns $666,666 per month, a figure revealed as part of their dispute over custody and financial support for their two young children, LaVelo Anthony Ball and LaNiyah Nicole Ball.
“In a single month, LiAngelo makes more than Nicole’s entire net worth,” Nikki’s attorney stated, noting that her assets include cash, investments, partial equity in a Beverly Hills condo, and a Rolls-Royce. The filing further alleges that the 27-year-old had assets totaling more than $6.4 million as of May, with debts bringing his reported net worth to just under $3.9 million.
Nikki painted a far less stable financial reality in her own filings. She told the court that her income shifted throughout the year, reflecting the ups and downs of influencer work rather than a fixed salary. While she reported averaging about $10,000 a month in 2024, she noted that she currently has no steady income, aside from roughly $2,000 coming in from her lingerie and clothing brand.
She also explained that her earnings took a hit during pregnancy and the months that followed. The documents state that she has not yet returned to her real estate work since giving birth, citing the physical and emotional demands of postpartum recovery. Nikki’s filings also detailed monthly expenses exceeding $36,000, much of which she says is currently covered by others.
The legal tension extends beyond finances. On December 10, Nikki formally objected to the rappers request for extensive financial records, including bank statements, jewelry purchases, cosmetic procedures, and travel expenses.
The pair’s breakup earlier this year played out publicly, with Nikkj alleging that LiAngelo abruptly left their family and moved on with someone else. “We were just happy and planning family photos – I am beyond blind-sighted by this whole thing,” she wrote on social media at the time.
LiAngelo later addressed the situation on the Ball in the Family podcast, admitting, “If I could redo it, I would have whooped my own ass for real. I would have stayed there,” while also acknowledging, “I did make some dumbass decisions.”
The former couple is scheduled to return to court later this month.
