‘Tis the season for hot chocolate, cozy PJs, and movie nights. Recently, actress Gabrielle Union and her daughter, Kaavia James, delighted fans with a cute Instagram reel of the duo twinning in pink pajamas.
The 52-year-old captioned the adorable reel, “Proof that good things come in pairs,” followed by a heart-faced emoji.
In the video, the 6-year-old said of the pajama sets, “I love these,” adding that the faux fur on her Union’s sleeves “feels so nice.”
And of course, when you are showing off new clothes to the world, an impromptu fashion show is unquestionably in order. In the video, Kaavia strutted around, swinging her hair for the camera. The She’s All That actress commented on the “fashion show,” by joking, “There’s always time for a fashion show.”
Towards the end of their video, both mother and daughter hold up a peace sign as Union said, “Goodnight folks!”
To which Kaavia quickly interjects saying, “Goodnight? We’re not going to bed. We’re gonna watch a movie with some popcorn, so we can have an amazing time.”
Recently, Union, her husband, NBA Legend, Dwayne Wade, along with Kaavia’s older siblings, celebrated her sixth birthday with a Barbie-inspired theme party.
Prior to the birthday bash, Union and Wade posted a sweet birthday message on social media to their special birthday girl.
“Miss Kaavia James Union Wade is 6 today!!!” the caption began. “You are a miracle who has blessed everyone with your kindness, compassion, elite humor, intelligence, and your loving soul. You are a gift to your family, blood and chosen, and so many people across the world. We love you beyond measure and we celebrate your cute little self daily!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUEEN KAAVIA!!!”
In addition to Kaavia, with who he shares with Union, Wade is also father to Zaire, Zaya, Xavier, and his nephew, Dahveon.
