When you’re a grandparent to nine kids, it’s no surprise that the holidays are going to be packed with excitement, making the celebrations even more memorable. In a past interview on the Let’s Go! with Bill Belichick, Maxx Crosby, Peter King & Jim Gray podcast, everyone’s favorite grandpa, Snoop Dogg, gave a glimpse into what Thanksgiving looks like in his home, sharing the special moments with his big family.
“You know, Martha [Stewart] sent me some s— that I don’t know how to cook,” the father-of-four said. “My family gonna keep it real basic. We’re gonna go with the old turkey, the ham, the stuffing, the dressing.”
“I got like nine grandkids. So I really enjoy my time with them. We pull out jumpers and have little things for them,” the 53-year-old said on Let’s Go!.
Snoop Dogg continued, telling the hosts that there may even be a costume change or two for the holiday.
“I get to be a character that day. I may put on a costume and dress up and not even be Paw-Paw. I may be a character all day, maybe Buzz Lightyear or some—-, you know what I’m saying?”
The Voice coach has said on more than one occasion that being a grandfather is “the love of my life.”
“That’s the joy in my life now, to really be able to be a grown— man with grandkids and to enjoy it,” he said on the podcast.
We can definitely picture “Paw Paw” in costume as he just wants to always bring a smile to his grandchildren’s faces.
“Papa Snoop, that’s who I am, and I love being that. I be dressing up for their birthday parties, like He-Man, Baby Shark or whoever. I be complaining, but I love it,” Snoop said in a previous interview with People Magazine.
“I love being a grandpa. It’s an accomplishment.”
