Khloe Kardashian is truly a supportive person when it not only comes to the Kardashian/Jenner clan, but she is also equally as supportive when it comes to her friends. In a recent episode of The Kardashians, Khloe lets her best friend, Malika Haqq, know that she has her back amidst Haqq’s sperm bank fears for baby number two.
In the latest episode of the Hulu hit series, the 41-year-old admits to Khloe that she is considering using a sperm bank for her second child.
“I do want to ask you, if you can, whenever, I can make an appointment when you can go with me,” Haqq asks the Good American co-founder. “It’s the sperm bank part that I’m just like, I have a head thing about it.”
The 39-year-old mother of two then questions, “And what are your fears about the sperm bank?”
Haqq explains that her hesitation with the process stems from her past expectations. “I guess it’s maybe my disappointment with not doing it the way I thought I would do it, like being married and all those things.”
The scene then cuts to a confessional moment where Khloe gets real about the “fantasy-like expectations” and pressure that are placed on women in terms of parenthood.
“You don’t fantasize about, as little girls, you’re not like, ‘Oh one day I want to go to a sperm bank and have another child.’ Like these aren’t things that you think about as a kid,” she said. “But for women, the older you get, time is ticking, and blah blah blah, so women put the pressure on themselves.”
Following the Khloe’s confessional moment, Haqq says to the 39-year-old mother-of-two, “I really can’t believe I’m gonna do it. Can just make you my baby daddy?”
To which Khoe responds, “Oh my God, yes!”
Haqq is mother to four-year-old Ace Odis Flores with whom she shares with rapper, Odis Flores, aka O.T. Genasis. Khloe shares two children, True and Tatum Thompson, with NBA Los Angeles Lakers player, Tristan Thompson.
