The court battle between Jeezy and Jeannie Mai seems to be continually heating up. Most recently, the 46-year-old father has petitioned the judge to order a “parental fitness exam” for both he and his estranged wife, Jeannie Mai.
In new court documents, obtained by The Blast, the rapper is not only asking for joint physical custody of his two-year-old daughter, Monaco, a “parental fitness evaluation” for the both of them, he is also requesting that the judge institutes a “temporary parenting plan order.”
Jeezy is also seeking that the judge set a “final trail” order for his divorce on “the next available trial calendar.”
Most recently, Mai has accused the “Soul Survivor” rapper of domestic abuse. Several women who are close to Jezzy have negated Mai’s claims. One such supporter is Mahi, with whom he shares 10-year-old daughter, Amra.
Mai filed an affidavit attesting to the fact that Jeezy is a “peaceful” individual. In the court documents, Mahi describes her ex-partner as a “devoted, caring, and present Father to our daughter and his oldest child [Jadarius Jenkins, 28].” She added: “For almost four years, Jay’s eldest child lived with us, and I was able to see their relationship grow every day. At no point was Jay ever physically, mentally, or emotionally abusive to his children or me.”
In another sworn affidavit, the nanny, Minhee Hoffler also showed support for the rapper, declaring that Jeezy is a “loving” father to his two daughters, Amra and Monaco. Hoffler went on to say that, “As a caretaker, I believe Mr. Jenkins gives his daughters the support they need as they grow into young women in the future.”
She concluded saying in the legal document that, “Mr. Jenkins is a hardworking person, but even a more hardworking dad.”
Mai’s legal team has refuted the statements of support, saying that they are “false claims”.
Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, and Mai wed in a small ceremony at their Atlanta home in March of 2021. The couple only have one child together. In addition to Monaco and Amra, Jeezy is also father to two sons, Jadarius Jenkins and Shyheim Jenkins, from previous relationships.
