Blue Ivy Carter, the 12-year-old eldest daughter of Beyoncé and Jay Z, has already established herself as a force in the entertainment industry, racking up many awards ahead of the BET nomination.
At only 9 years of age, Blue became the second youngest person ever to win a Grammy award when her mom’s song,”Brown Skin Girl”, won the Best Music Video award. She is also the youngest person to win a BET award for the Her Award for “Brown Skin Girl.”
Following in her mother Beyoncé’s footsteps, who herself has garnered five BET Award nominations, including nods for her film “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” and collaborations like “American Has a Problem (Remix),” Blue Ivy is making her mark.
And with her upcoming role alongside her mom in Disney’s highly anticipated “Lion King” prequel, “Mufasa,” slated for release in December, it’s evident that Blue Ivy’s journey is just beginning, promising even more stellar performances to come.
