G Herbo took to Instagram with a sweet message for his firstborn, Yosohn, on his sixth birthday. Alongside photos capturing precious moments between father and son, the rapper expressed his deep love for his little boy.
Herbo wrote, “HAPPY BIRTHRITEEEE 2 MY BUDDDYYY MY BUDDDYYY MY BUDDYYYY MY 1ST BORN SON YOSIGITTYTYY WORDS CAN NEVER EXPLAIN HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU SON! && IM SO GRATEFUL THAT YOU KNOW IT 1000%. KEEP BEING THE SMART WISE A#$ THAT YOU ARE I WOULDN’T TRADE IT FOR THE [world].”
Yosohn’s mom, Ari Fletcher, also joined in the celebration, sharing a series of photos in her Instastories to mark her son’s special day.
Last year, Fletcher and Herbo came together and celebrated their son Yosohn’s fifth birthday with a Black Panther-themed party. The party included a live panther, and guests, including the birthday boy, dressed up in costumes from the movie.
In a recent interview with Yung Miami, Herbo opened up about his co-parenting journey with Fletcher. He admitted to cheating and acknowledged his failure to support her during her postpartum depression.
He said, “I was naive to that though. I ain’t never been around a woman who was suffering from postpartum depression or none of that. At the same time, when she was going through that, I had just lost like one of my best friends. I lost my homie C Money, so I was super stressed and s**t. That ain’t no excuse. I ain’t make no excuse.”
Herb, who also shares two kids with his fiancee Taina Williams, reflected on how fatherhood has changed him.
“I was wild before I had kids. I wouldn’t say like wild, wild, but I feel like I ain’t really had too much purpose,” he explained. “My kids gave me purpose; there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my kids — literally nothing I wouldn’t do. So, it’s like, I don’t know… It just make me feel complete… I don’t want to sound harsh or nothing, but I don’t be giving a f**k about nothing but my kids for real.”
