NBA YoungBoy, real name Kentrell Gaulden, had a happy Easter with his wife, kids, and adoptive family.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, March 31, the rapper treated fans to a series of snapshots.
In one set of photos, Kentrell could be seen posing with his adoptive family as well his wife and kids. “Happy Easter,” he simply captioned the post.
In another set of photos, Youngboy, joined by his wife Jazlyn Mychelle, and their two little ones, radiated pure joy.
He wrote alongside the heartwarming pictures, “Mines. Thank you.”
While the images captured moments of pure bliss, they also sparked curiosity and conversation among fans.
Some fans couldn’t help but express confusion, humor, and even skepticism at the sight of NBA YoungBoy’s white adoptive family. Comments flooded in, with some jokingly speculating whether the family was rented for the occasion.
“Man who are these white people, Kentrell,” a follower wrote.
“I’m dying cus what if he rented these ppl for the pictures,” another said.
Others pondered the dynamics of YoungBoy’s relationship with his biological family versus his adoptive one.
“These people probably treat him better than his own… he probably gave up on his side of the family…,” one person observed.
But amidst the flurry of comments, there were those who chose to focus on the positive. “Y’all can’t be happy for this boy for nothing, look at that smile yall. He been through a lot it’s a good thing to see.”
YoungBoy is currently living in Salt Lake City, Utah under house arrest due to his involvement in a Miami shooting in 2019 and various charges, including attempted murder, drugs, guns, assault, and kidnapping.
Despite these hurdles, the rapper seems to have found solace and stability in his family life, particularly with his wife Jazlyn Mychelle and their two young children, Love Alice and Klemenza.
Adding another layer to his support system is YoungBoy’s godmother, Kyrie Oliver, and her family, who have taken on the role of his adoptive family.
