Ciara is a mom of four kids! On Monday, the singer and husband Russell Wilson announced that they had welcomed another daughter.
The couple shared in a joint Instagram post, “Amora Princess Wilson. 9lbs 1oz. We Love You so much! ”
Ciara and Russell Wilson’s journey as parents began when they met in 2015. At that time, Ciara was already a mom to Future Zahir, 9, from her previous relationship with rapper Future. After exchanging vows in 2016, the couple welcomed their daughter Sienna Princess, now 6. In 2020, the Wilson family expanded with the arrival of their youngest, Win Harrison, who is now 3 years old.
Ciara, reflecting on her vision for family life, recently shared with GQ, “If I could look back in a crystal ball when I was a little girl and I looked at the idea of my family and what it would be for me, it’s exactly this.”
Russell added, “Every day I come home from work and it’s late at night, it’s after film and practice and all that, and me and Ciara are together, and we just smile from ear-to-ear in the kitchen because we realize that our family is a beautiful blended family but it’s also, you know, our family. It’s us.”
The couple’s anticipation for baby number four was palpable as Ciara expressed during the recent Color Purple Premiere, “I think I’m ready,” she responded, gently touching her bump. “You know, it’s like I’m ready, but I’m not ready, but I’m ready.”
She continued, “The thing is — to me — when you bring a new life, it’s such a big responsibility. I already have three babies right now and they’re turnt,” she joked. “It’s like the three stooges, you never know what you’re going to get. Adding a fourth member in is like ‘what’s that going to be like?’”
