Twelve-year-old Nicholas Buamah has many accolades already attached to his name. He is already a best-selling author, several times over, and he has had multiple books catalogued into the United States Library of Congress.
Yet, books aren’t the only thing that Nicholas likes to write. His passion for writing screenplays has now led him on a new journey, television production. As a result, Nicholas can now add TV Executive Producer to his resume, as his new television series, Nick’s House, has made him one of the youngest executive producers in the business to produce a TV episodic series.
The pilot episode of Nick’s House, recently premiered on Thanksgiving Day. To make the project happen, according to Blacknews.com, the preteen teamed up with Hollywood director LaMont Ferrell (The Wise Old Owl), assistant director Reshaun Jones (Pretty Little Liars), and producer Toiya Tillman (5th Annual Urban One Honors).
In the family-friendly series, Nicholas shares the screen with his good friends Janae Madison, Seree’ Abellard, Cavanaugh Bell, and Bailey Love. The project is geared towards highlighting black children in a positive light, while showcasing black excellence.
In addition to all that Nicholas is doing in the world of entertainment, he is a very busy philanthropist as well. Nicholas is CEO of the non-profit organization, Books Without Borders Inc. Through his non-profit, the Atlanta resident partnered with Ghana’s National Health Insurance Scheme to help provide more than 3,500 children with much needed healthcare insurance assistance.
In lieu of all that this phenomenal young man has on his plate, he doesn’t stop dreaming because, “The sky is not the limit. There is no limit to your greatness.”
One day, this multi-talented young man hopes to film future episodes of Nick’s House in Tyler Perry Studios. Nick’s House is available to stream on Nicholas’ online platform, MotherHubbard.TV and YouTube. We have a feeling that we will be seeing much more of both Nicholas and Nick’s House in the future!
Congratulations, Nicholas! We cannot wait for what is next.
