Jessie and D’Lila Combs, the twin daughters of hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, cover the latest issue of Galore’s Rebel Beauty Issue. The rising models, no strangers to the public eye, are carving out their own path in the worlds of fashion, beauty, and business.
Following in the footsteps of their late mother, Kim Porter, Jessie and D’Lila have been making waves in the industry. From modeling for Levi jeans to strutting the runways of Milan for Dolce & Gabbana, the Combs twins are making a name for themselves.
In an exclusive interview with Dai Time, the twins share insights into their journey, aspirations, and the valuable advice passed down by their parents.
Redefining Legacy and Chasing Dreams
Asked about the advice that has resonated with them, the twins reveal that their mom taught them to “pick your battles,” a guiding principle that has helped them navigate life’s challenges. Their dad’s mantra, “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop,” serves as a constant inspiration to never give up on their dreams.
Looking ahead, the twins envision themselves at 21 as successful entrepreneurs with a billion-dollar brand and thriving modeling careers. “At 21, we see ourselves being very successful with our billion-dollar brand and having a skyrocketing modeling career. We aim to create our own path, leveraging our individuality and talents to redefine our legacy in fashion, beauty, and business.”
Dolce & Gabbana Dreams and Future Ventures
Reflecting on their experience walking in the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show, the twins express how it was a dream come true. “The whole experience was amazing; it was our 1st time in Venice, Italy and the whole DG team was so nice and welcoming. The day we found out about this opportunity we immediately started looking for some model coaches to ensure we were confident for the big day in Venice.”
As for their next ventures, Diddy’ daughters tease exciting projects on the horizon – from skincare and clothing lines to makeup and accessories.
Favorite Vacation Spots and SHEROES
Sharing personal insights, Jessie and D’Lila disclose that one of their favorite vacation spots is Jamaica, where they cherished special moments with their mom. “One of our favorite places for vacation would definitely be Jamaica because we had the best time there when we went with our mom. We really want to go to Dubai because it looks so pretty there and we’ve heard that there are so many great places to go shopping.”
When it comes to role models, the Combs Twins look up to their mom, Beyonce, and Naomi Campbell as their sheroes, embodying the strength and grace they aspire to emulate. “Those are our role models/sheroes,” they said.
