Darius Jackson has broken his silence following reports that Keke Palmer has filed a restraining order against him and is seeking full custody of their 8-month-old son, Leodis Andrellton Jackson.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Jackson posted a heartfelt message, expressing his love for his little man. He wrote,”I love you son. See you soon.”
Darius brother, actor Sarunas J. Jackson, also chimed in a now-deleted tweet, saying, “The most disgusting, vile, abusive, manipulative person I have EVER encountered in my entire life.. Abuses almost everyone. Y’all will see.. Just send positive energy to the babies.. Any child in the middle of something like this does not deserve it AT ALL. Wow. So damn sad.”
Multiple sources have confirmed that Keke Palmer is pursuing both legal and physical custody of their child, as the once seemingly stable relationship between her and the 29-year-old Jackson has unraveled.
Court documents filed on November 9 detail a harrowing incident that occurred on November 5. Palmer accuses Jackson of trespassing into her home without consent, engaging in physical violence, and making threats. The allegations include a disturbing list of actions, from lunging for her neck to physically assaulting her, throwing her over a couch, and even stealing her phone.
The actress further claims that Jackson subjected her to physical violence in the presence of their son, going so far as to threaten self-harm with a gun if she were to leave the relationship.
In her declaration, she maintains that her relationship with Jackson “finally ended for good” in early October due to him physically and emotionally abusing her.
Back in July, Darius Jackson stirred controversy when he commented on Palmer’s attire at an Usher concert on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “It’s the outfit tho … you a mom.”
Despite facing online backlash, he doubled down on his opinion, saying, “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is,” he added at the time. “This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”
