Nick Cannon and Bre Tiesi celebrated their son’s birthday over the weekend as Legendary Love Cannon will make his milestone birthday on June 28th!
Balloons, bounce house, ball pit, bubbles, and much more were all on hand to celebrate Legendary’s first birthday. And, of course, Nick Cannon was front-and-center to celebrate with Bri Tiesi and his son.
“The true goal is appreciating the time, and having the opportunity to be like, ‘Oh, wow, I may have these thousand things this year, but I remember the moment of his first birthday, how amazing the party was, that we documented it,” Cannon shared with Entertainment Tonight.
He continued, “And as he gets older, those baseball games or recitals — just that we remember and appreciate. We take the time to take the pictures, we take the time to capture it the way we want to capture it.”
In the same interview, Tiesi praised Cannon for being an amazing co-parent, saying that he is always “very supportive” and “present”.
“So, here’s the thing that I know everyone wants to argue with me about — but he makes his own schedule. He can show up every day, when he stops from work. He can come at night,” the Selling Sunset real estate agent told the popular entertainment news outlet.
She continued, “So, he’s here every week, and especially when he’s home, he’s here. So, it’s not a set schedule, we don’t have to plan things, but he’s very present and he’s at anything and everything I ask him to be at. So, I’m very happy. He’s very supportive.”
To some, it may seem like this is truly an unconventional arrangement between Tiesi and Cannon, but the former model assures people that it is something that works for them and that Cannon has “never told [her] no”.
“I don’t really feel like there’s anything to adjust to, because I kind of make it however I want. So, I have a nanny during the day. Or, like, the other night, I had to run out and actually show Saweetie a property, and I said, ‘Nick, I need you at 7 p.m. I don’t know what you’re doing, but you’ll be here at 7,’ and he was there,” Tiesi added. “So, I don’t really feel like I am struggling or missing anything. It’s all about just communicating and he’s really accommodating, and he’s very helpful. And that man has never told me no.”
Everyone is wondering if there will eventually be a lucky number 13 for Cannon. Well, Tiesi assures the public that for now, she is content with Legendary being her only child at the moment, as she wants to just focus on him. Although Cannon is “open to whatever”.
“I don’t want to take more attention away from my son than I already do, working like I do, so I’m really trying to figure out how to manage that, and I think adding in another aspect of another human would be very hard.”
Cannon is father to 11 more children, mothered by six women. His children and their mother’s include Twins Moroccan and Monroe with Mariah Carey; Golden, Powerful Queen, and Rise with Brittany Bell; Twins Zion and Zillion, and Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; Onyx Ice with LaNisha Cole; and Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott. Cannon and Scott also had a son, Zen, who died of a brain tumor five months after he was born.
