Yung Miami, real name Caresha Brownlee, and Southside held a party for their daughter, Summer, to remember in celebration of the little one’s third birthday.
Summer wore an outfit that matched her mom’s attire to the party. The youngster was even allowed to wear a bit of makeup to her bash, which many fans loved.
“Beautiful,” La La Anthony said after seeing the pictures of Yung Miami and her daughter. “I love this,” the television personality added. “Both [are] so beautiful,” DaniLeigh said.
Yung Miami took to Instagram last week to commemorate her daughter’s birthday. “Happy third birthday to my princess,” the celebrity mom wrote to her little one. Some were amazed at how much Summer grew as they recalled when Yung Miami revealed her expectancy of a child with producer Southside in 2019.
A few critics thought Caresha’s pregnancy would be the end of her then-budding career. The recording artist, however, continued to perform throughout much of her expectancy and has only added to her empire.
“I have help,” Yung Miami said of her life as a working mom during a recent interview with XXL. “My mom watches my kids and my son is 9 years old and he’s in the backseat,” the celebrity mom shared.
“So, it’s kind of easy having help with my mom,” Caresha said of her balance between work and home. “I don’t have a nanny, I have a mom,” she reiterated. “I’m not worrying about my kids because I know my mom is taking care of them and she is going to raise them how she raised me, which is perfectly fine.”
Summer doesn’t get to go on the road as much as her older brother, Jai Malik. The youngster does, however, have the opportunity to accompany her mom to some work functions. Summer also spends lots of quality time with her dad.
“He’s real (sic) cool,” Yung Miami said of Southside during her recent interview with XXL. “I’m not gonna lie, at first, it was kind of rocky, but, you know, we had to put our differences to the side and just understand that we got kids together,” the celebrity mom shared. “We can’t raise our kids in a bad environment because it really takes a toll on the kids.”
