Aventer and John Gray are striving for healthier lifestyles after his health scare a few weeks ago. Aventer took to Instagram on Saturday (Sep. 17) to celebrate her family’s new journey.
“MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE,” Mrs. Gray began her message. “The Gray Family is on their grind! We are reclaiming our lives! Not for us, but for our children,” the celebrity mom shared. “They deserve to see what structure and discipline look like,” Aventer said of her and John’s kids. “They deserve to be given the blueprint for a healthy and fruitful life,” she continued. “We are raising them up to prioritize health in every form: spiritual, mental, and physical. They will know NO LIMITS,” Aventer declared.
It was just a few weeks ago that Pastor John Gray’s wife took to Instagram to request prayers for her husband who was suffering in the hospital with a pulmonary embolism. “My family and I stand in need of a miracle,” Aventer told her supporters. “Please keep my husband @realjohngray in your prayers,” she asked. After feeling a little different over the past couple [of] weeks, he went to the ER on Thursday evening and was immediately admitted to CCU with A saddle Pulmonary Embolism in the pulmonary artery and more lung blood clots.”
Things were critical with Pastor Gray for several days as the possibility of sudden death was his reality. He ultimately made it through the ordeal and has been able to resume preaching at his church, Relentless Church, in Greenville, South Carolina.
“To the wonderful team of doctors, nurses, cardiologists, and staff at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama I say thank you,” Pastor Gray wrote to the doctors and other medical staff who rendered care. “My family and I are indebted to you all for your love and care,” he added. “Because of prayer and an amazing medical team, I am on course for a COMPLETE recovery,” the pator declared.
John and Aventer Gray have a son named John IV and a daughter named Theory.
