Damon Dash’s son with Raquel Horn is already potty trained at just 5-months-old! The producer tells Page Six exclusively how his little communicates his need to relieve himself.
“He makes a certain kind of grunt or noise where he communicates that he wants to use the bathroom,” Damon reveals. “It’s like [training] a puppy, kinda,” the celebrity father shares.
Dusko Dash made Raquel and Damon parents last year. The little arrived months after his mom and dad confirmed their expectancy and years after Raquel and Damon unsuccessfully tried to expand their family with a child.
“When I first started trying to have a baby, I didn’t think it would be an issue,” Raquel said during a recent interview with Forbes. “[I come from a] Puerto Rican family [where my] Grandma’s got nine siblings. My mom had no issues,” Horn explained. “Plus, I was focused on my career, so that made having a kid placed on the back burner.”
Things became complicated for Raquel and Damon when they started trying to get pregnant. She suffered several setbacks, which included a miscarriage at seven months.
“It was the most traumatic experience I have ever had to go through,” Horn told Forbes. “I am fortunate to have such a dedicated partner. He had taken away my phone, deleted all my baby apps, removed every baby item from the house, and eliminated as many triggers as possible,” the celebrity said of her fiance. “I’m eternally grateful.”
Raquel and Damon gave themselves time to heal from the miscarriage and ultimately decided to try again. The celebrity couple welcomed their son on November 18, 2020.
“He is truly beautiful,” wrote one Instagram fan after seeing a picture of Dusko. “He’s so precious,” another social media follower agreed. “What a blessing.”
Dusko is Raquel’s first child. The little one made Damon the father of five kids.
