Damon Dash is in love with his fiancee and son. The celebrity father shared new pictures of his son with social media fans this past weekend.
“Mini-me,” Damon said of his son. “[I’m] working every day to leave him a legacy to carry on.” Damon’s son was picture-ready in the shot as he appeared to strike a pose for the camera. The celebrity father also shared a candid of his little one sitting poolside with dad. “Mornings with the Golden Bean,” Dash said.
Damon and his fiancee, Raquel Horn, welcomed their son last November. Raquel took to Instagram after giving birth to thank her fiance for his love and support.
“Welcome @babydusko,” Horn wrote to her son. “Daddy @duskopoppington and I love you,” she added. “Thank you Damon for the greatest gift in the whole world,” Raquel wrote to her fiance. “I love you so much,” she continued. “Thank you for holding my hand, being my shoulder to cry on, and [for being] my strength to move forward.”
Damon Dash and Raquel Horn definitely plan to move forward as a married couple. He made things official in February with a proposal for marriage that, in many ways, was a long time coming. Damon, who has dated Raquel for years, recently told the press that his strong feelings for his soon-to-be wife are reminiscent of the love he had for late singer Aaliyah when they were in a relationship.
“That was love,” Damon said of his feelings for Aaliyah. “And when she passed, I never thought I would ever get that feeling again. I got that feeling again with Raquel,” Dash said. “It’s funny,” the producer continued. “I would be talking to Raquel and her record would come on. It would always be like validation.”
Damon Dash and Raquel Horn’s son is their first child together. Damon has five kids in all.
