The coronavirus pandemic has changed the way people conduct their lives across the globe. In the United States, various cities remain on lockdown as case numbers and deaths related to COVID-19 continue to rise. There are presently no travel restrictions in Georgia due to the pandemic. Individuals who leave their homes for work and errands must follow social distancing regulations.
Cardi B largely remains at home due to restrictions in other parts of the country that prevent her from performing at shows. Still, the ‘Money’ rapper has faced backlash for her ‘WAP’ single, which she recently refused to let her daughter hear. Some accused Cardi of subjecting others to such a sensual song while protecting her daughter from the lyrics. Cardi, however, made it clear that she creates music for adults and not kids.
“I’m not Jojo Siwa,” Cardi B told one fan who recently attempted to blast her for a video clip that showed the rapper turning off ‘WAP’ when her daughter entered the room. “I don’t make music for kids,” Cardi said. “I make music for adults. Parents are responsible on (sic) what their children listen to or see. I’m a very sexual person but not around my child just like every other parent should be.”
