It’s been a long journey, but finally, he is here! Damon Dash and Raquel Horn welcomed their first child, Dusko Dash, this past weekend.
“Welcome @babydusko,” Raquel wrote to her newborn son. “Daddy @duskopoppington and I love you,” Horn continued. “Thank you Damon for the greatest gift in the whole world. I love you so much. Thank you for holding my hand, being my shoulder to cry on, and my strength to move forward.”
Raquel Horn and Damon Dash welcomed their son after suffering a miscarriage last year. The celebrity couple announced their expectancy of a girl and enjoyed a beautiful baby shower for their unborn child before suffering the loss. Dusko’s arrival after such devastation makes him a miracle child, or rainbow baby.
Raquel delved into her fertility struggles in a candid Instagram post this past weekend. “Life gives everyone many challenges,” the new mom said. “One of mine has been fertility,” Horn revealed. “The struggles and lessons I have learned from it are irreplaceable. [I] learned so much about myself through this; it has made me stronger. Thank you to everyone who has shared it with me.”
Dusko Dash has already met his older sisters, Ava and Tallulah Dash. The newborn is Damon Dash’s fourth child. Stay tuned for more celebrity births news!
