Blue Ivy Carter is hair goals and we have the photos to prove it! Over the years, the daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z has received a lot of negative comments about her hair. In 2014, a woman put up a petition and accused the Carters of not taking care of their daughter’s hair. She wrote:
“The parents of Blue Ivy. Sean Carter A.K.A Jay-Z and Beyoncé [have] failed at numerous attempts of doing Blue Ivy Hair. This matter has escalated to the child developing matted dreads and lint balls. Please let’s get the word out to properly care for Blue Ivy hair.
Two years after the petition went up, Beyoncé responded to the unnamed woman and other critics with song Formation and the line, “I like my baby heir with baby hair and afros“.
