Musicals have become an important part of the Disney Channel line-up from Descendants to Freaky Friday and beyond, musicals continue to gain popularity, and Raven’s Home is about to follow suit!
In an upcoming special episode of the show, Booker sets out to land the starring role in the school’s musical about Coach Spitz’s journey as a teenage boy who loved both basketball and hip hop. When Raven has a vision of Booker receiving a standing ovation, she convinces him to try out for the part, but Nia encourages Tess to as well since she is good at both basketball and rap, making her the face of a “girl power” movement.
