Cardi B and husband Offset celebrated the impending birth of their daughter yesterday
Monica Brown was one of many celebrities in attendance at Cardi B and Offset’s fabulous baby shower. “Congratulations @offsetyrn and @iamcardib,” Monica shared online. “You did this love thing the best way!! YOUR WAY,” she exclaimed. “May God Bless you and your bundle of joy!”
Cardi and Offset are definitely gearing up for life as parents. It was just the other week that the “Bodak Yellow” rapper told Rolling Stone that she plans to be pretty protective of her daughter.
“I’m iffy about it,” Cardi said when asked about sharing pictures of her little one online. “My feelings get hurt when people online talking about family members. I think I’ll kill somebody if somebody talking about my child like that,” she added.
Cardi has navigated her way through the music industry and managed to make it to the top despite criticism. “People want me to be so full of shame that I used to dance,” the rapper recently said of her prior career as a club dancer. “I would never be ashamed of it,” Cardi declared. “I made a lot of money, I had a good time and it showed me a lot – it made me open my eyes about how people are, how men are, about hunger and passion and ambition.”
Cardi B and Offset are expecting their first child to arrive in coming weeks.
