Bright lights and the big city are what Yandy Smith and her kids enjoy. The celebrity mom shared pictures from their most recent adventures that included a bit of quality time in Harlem.
“Harlem…where I learned the hustle,” Yandy said of her hometown. “Teaching this young king and queen hustlerprenuership,” she shared. Little Skylar and O’mere were certainly dressed for a day in town as he wore a t-shirt that read, “Son of a Queen,” and she rocked a white headband that matched her outfit. Yandy was also dressed fabulously with an aqua Channel bag that complimented her satin blouse.
The celebrity mom has been quite busy promoting her new children’s book, My Blended Family. “For children, it’s great because it helps them to feel like they’re not alone,” Yandy revealed during an exclusive interview with Wetpaint in March.
“They’re talking and reading about situations that other little people are going through so that in their situation they’ll feel like, ‘Oh my gosh! He or she’s just like me.'”
My Blended Family hopes to tackle the subject of co-parenting with two stories titled “Weekend Visit” and “Birthday Party.” The illustrations in the book are particularly lively so that kids can stay intrigued throughout the two tales.
Yandy Smith and her husband, Mendeecees Harris, have two kids together. O’mere and Skylar’s older brother, Mendeecees Jr., is Yandy’s son by marriage. Learn more about My Blended Family here!
