Happy Birthday, Halo! Alex Thomas and wife Brasie Patterson celebrated their daughter’s second birthday a few days ago.
“Look who turned #2 today,” Alex exclaimed. The comedian also posted a picture of him, Halo, Brasie, and Mickey Mouse striking a pose. The birthday girl found her spot right next to Mickey Mouse while resting in her father’s arms. Dozens of family members and friends joined Halo in celebrating her birthday at Disneyland. In fact, Alex shared a picture of Halo surrounded by partygoers. “Disneyland was lit,” the star father wrote.
It was just last year that Alex Thomas was gushing over his then 10-month-old daughter during an interview on The Tom Joyner Morning Show. “If you go to my Instagram, you would think it was her Instagram because I am a proud new daddy,” the comedian revealed.
Alex went on to tell the show’s hosts about his and Brasie’s experience in the delivery room that included blasting their daughter’s “theme song” through the hospital’s halls. “In the delivery room at Cedar Sinai, you would think Beyonce was there performing.”
“While my wife was delivering, you know, we played that song [‘Halo’],” Thomas explained. “All the people in the delivery room were like, ‘Oh my God. This is amazing. That’s her name.’ I said, ‘That’s pretty much going to be her theme song her whole life.'”
