Angelina Jolie and the kids were among many celebrities who attended Saturday’s world premiere of Kung Fu Panda 3 at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California. Angelina stood alone while conducting interviews on the red carpet but met up with her kids soon after the action in the spotlight concluded.
Four of the Joie-Pitt kids – Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and Knox – serve as voices for characters in the highly anticipated film. Angelina tells media that the kids gained a different perspective of her job as an actress after working on the set of the movie. “[At first] it was like, ‘Okay, we’re going to work. We’re going to work with mom, we’re going to see what this is, [and] we’re going to act today.’ And after they had gotten through it they said, ‘That’s acting? That’s not so bad.’ So I lost any type of credit for it being a difficult job,” Jolie says.
Still, the kids had the opportunity to see Angelina put her best foot forward while portraying Tigress. “She’s really, really tough but deep down she’s a really good friend,” the actress says of her character. “She’s one of those people that if you get in trouble, you can call her.”
The latest installment in the Kung Fu Panda sequel will answer all questions and have audience members laughing from beginning to end.
