Cordell Broadus is making strides in football, and his family is present to support him all the way. The teen recently had his mom, dad, and siblings with him to celebrate his athletic success at the Bishop Gorman Football Banquet.
Broadus was certainly dressed to impress as he and his teammates were honored for their efforts this past season. “Love you,” wrote little sister Cori on Instagram. The young singer also shared a picture of her and Cordell sharing a brother-sister moment at the banquet. “The way he loves and protects me is the best thing ever,” exclaimed Cori.
Cordell has been making a name for himself as a highly sought after football player. The teen was selected to play in the High School All America game a few weeks back, and has received several scholarship offers since rising to prominence as a high school football sensation more than two years ago. “He’s doing things that I could’ve never done at his age,” said Snoop Dogg of his son’s talent during a recent interview. “He’s doing way better than me,” gushed the rapper.
Although his father is a celebrated recording artist, Cordell has told media that he longs to create his own path in life. “I might just be a celebrity’s son, but in reality I’m really out here grinding it and trying to make a name for myself on the field.” He is certainly doing a good job!
