June Ambrose takes you inside of her stylish home for an up-close and personal look at her family and how they mesh. The celebrity stylist tells The Glow that Chance and Summer have changed her whole perspective on life and made her into the woman that she is today.
“My children have allowed me to discover a side of myself I never knew existed,” says Ambrose. “Since having kids, the style of my home has become less contrived—the decor is kid friendly and livable! We are minimalist when it comes to living.”
Although she believes in maintaining order, June admits that she’s not the disciplinarian of the family. “I wish I was better at being a disciplinarian,” explains the star. “I’m such a pushover.”
Over the years, June has helped Summer and Chance develop their fashion sense. “Both my kids love neutrals and nautical colors. As far as cuts go, Chance loves a retro cut and Summer prefers loose fitting silhouettes over anything tight. They love when I’m over the top! Their favorite things for me to wear are gowns and leather jackets.”
June and her family will be featured in The Glow’s first book, set to be released on April 15, 2014. Ambrose and her husband Marc Chamblin have two kids together.
