Kanye West brought all four of his children to his Yeezy Season 01 runway show at the brand’s first flagship store on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 4.
The music mogul, who goes by Ye, posed with North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7, for their first public photos together in about two years.
According to Page Six, their last public appearance together was in September 2024, when the kids joined him onstage at his Vultures 2 listening event in Hainan, China.
In photos from the Yeezy show, West wore a black leather jacket and a belt with a gold buckle, while North paired an oversized black coat and chunky boots with blue contacts and straight turquoise hair that fell past her knees. Saint and Psalm wore shades of gray, with Psalm layering a zip-up hoodie over a tank. Chicago went with a glossy cream jacket and matching pants tucked into lace-up boots.
Four nights earlier, North joined her dad onstage at his Halloween concert at Houston’s Reliant Stadium, where she performed “Legacy” and “Talking.”
Kim Kardashian, who was married to West for eight years, recently told biographer Jonathan Van Meter what it’s been like raising their children since the divorce.
“It is challenging co-parenting with someone who comes by every few months,” Kardashian said. She explained that she sometimes tells the children their dad is traveling because she wants to protect their relationship with him.
Kardashian said she often communicates with West through his wife, Bianca Censori, or his manager and regularly invites him over to spend time with the kids. Last year, she invited West and Censori to spend Christmas Eve with the family and said she plans to make the same offer again.
Even as she tries to set boundaries, Kardashian said she still worries about her ex-husband.
“Oh, I worry about [Kanye] all day,” Kardashian shared. “All the time. That’s the father of my kids, I’ll never not worry about him. And that’s a big burden of having kids with someone who you don’t necessarily get along with. My kids would never know that.”
“I do everything in my power to forget about all the negative things that happened,” she continued. “I have to be realistic, and my therapist definitely tells me, ‘Your boundaries have to go up,’ but we manage to co-parent without too much conflict.”
