Jania Meshell is pregnant!
The model announced that she and NBA star Dejounte Murray are expecting their second child together. She shared the news with a maternity photo shoot that put her growing baby bump on full display.
One photo shows Meshell standing in white lace lingerie and a sheer robe as she gently cradles her bump. Another captures her stretched across the floor in white stockings and red heels beside a vintage television displaying one of her maternity portraits.
“Breaking News: Baby Murray is coming soon,” she captioned the post.
Followers quickly flooded the comments with congratulations, although several admitted the announcement wasn’t exactly a surprise.
“I called it,” one person wrote.
Another joked, “And don’t be under here acting like yall already knew… yall just was ‘speculating.'”
“Ahwwww congratulations baby girl!!!” another follower commented, while someone else added, “baby TikTok NEVER lies, congratulations boo.”
The baby on the way will be Meshell and Murray’s second child together. They welcomed daughter Icelynn Mercedes Murray in April 2023.
After Icelynn’s birth, Murray celebrated becoming a girl dad with an emotional Instagram post.
“Icelynn Mercedes Murray. Daddy Promise To Be There For You In REAL LIFE And Give You All The Time And Love A Daughter Needs From Her Father Unconditionally!!!!” he wrote.
Meshell announced their daughter’s arrival on her own page, writing, “Icelynn Mercedes Murray. April 9, 2023 @dejountemurray we did it.”
Murray later returned to the comments to praise Meshell for everything she endured during childbirth.
“Shoutout To You And The Pain You Went Through…. But You Know I Was Right Here The Whole Way And Forever!!!! Our Princess Is Here And I Can’t Stop Smiling!!!!!” he wrote.
In addition to Icelynn, Meshell is also mom to son Kacey, whom she shares with rapper NBA YoungBoy. Murray is also father to daughter Riley from a previous relationship.
The couple has not shared the baby’s due date or revealed whether they are expecting a boy or a girl.
